Bidding a fond farewell to ‘Monterey Auto Week’, we drove north, taking advantage of a three-day open house, featuring one of the finest restoration facilities on the West Coast.
Motoring enthusiast and car salesman Bruce Canepa owns a 77,000 square foot facility that features a comprehensive range of restoration and maintenance disciplines. His facility meets the many and varied challenges across the restoration and race car preparation spectrum.
Bruce even has his own museum and classic car sales showroom.
We spent several hours at the Canepa facility, soaking up the impressive scope of Bruce’s operation. His workshops were clean, organised, and very well resourced; and the workmanship I witnessed was to a very high standard. Canepa even has its own logistics facility capable of pickups and deliveries to owners and race meetings across North America. I was blown away by the sheer scale and range of services Canepa provided. I was also very impressed with the technicians and the standard of workmanship. You can see more on the Canepa facility in our video review.
