On Saturday 13th of October we had the privilege of hosting Bathurst legend Bob Morris’s surprise birthday party. As part of the surprise, Bob’s wife Sharon organised for his Bathurst winning Torana to be bought in from a private collection interstate for the event. It had been decades since Bob had seen the car and it was a huge thrill to have it showcased in the workshop for all to enjoy.
Brian was on hand throughout the evening, as he is for all our events, discussing the many facets of the workshop and current projects underway with the partygoers.
Classic Bathurst footage played on the big screen all evening coupled with an excellent swing band ‘The Aston Martinis’ – a fabulous night was had by all guests, and we were thrilled to receive such encouraging feedback from the guests throughout the night for our first private function in the Sydney space.
